MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND - GET FREE ON YOUR MOTORBIKE!

I went to LA to shoot the incredibly talented Shinya Kimura, who has been quietly building mind-blowing moto machines for….as long as he could pick up a tool. Considered by most an artist, Kimura was the epitome of humble, describing himself as a mechanic. We got to spend two days with him, riding and talking about bikes. It was a fantastic peak into a simple and fully charming life.


We shot for On Paper Magazine, which is an annual journal which publishes each issue in limited run and each issue focuses on one subject, commissioning one photographer & writer to create work around them. It was a very liberating way to work & I enjoyed the freer approach to image making and the final product looks GORGEOUS.

We went to Fontana, CA to photograph young race car drivers for Hero Magazine. It was so much fun to watch these young kids, so immersed in this culture, having the times of their lives. I don’t know too much about cars, but I certainly got a crash course on this job…

We went to LA & shot for a full on day with the AMAZING MAYA RUDOLPH & the HILARIOUS DANNY MCBRIDE.

This shoot fully proved that TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK.
