I had the opportunity to photograph Brooklyn-based artist KAWS for BLAST magazine a few years back. Not only have his paintings and sculptures been widely exhibited at museums but he also creates mega popular limited edition apparel and toys. He is internationally known for taking down iconic characters and making them his own.
Last week, in collaboration with Amtrak- his 16 foot sculpture, Companion (Passing Through), is now comfortably sitting in Philadelphia’s 30th Street station now through May 14th. MAJOR!!

Earlier this week we shot in this stunning modernized house accompanied by landscape work by artist Maya Lin. It was such a gorgeous place surrounded by water and green. Thankfully we avoided the ticks, but there was no way we could escape the mosquitoes.

LOOK! My fashion story featuring the Prattville Lions are in this SUMMER/FALL 2012 DARK+STORMY print issue of HERO magazine. They wanted something American, classic, & very special. Through research we found the Prattville Lions, a championship winning football team in the deep south. It was such a pleasure to photograph these charming kids and they look fantastic!!
